Роза второго года посадки, фактически первое ее нормальное цветение. Кисти настолько тяжелые, что приходится поддерживать, чтобы сфотографировать. Так что извините за руку.

Я Вам привела ссылки на сайты с научной информацией. А Вы мне на сайт с коммерческой. Я не оспариваю, что есть такой человек с каким-то агро-образованием и неким опытом в области агропоники+soil gardening (как указывается в аннотации к его книгам на англ, они есть на Google Books), но этот человек вряд ли настоящий ученый.

Если бы его работы были сколь-нибудь значимы в науке, они были бы оцифрованы. И их можно было бы найти по тем ссылкам, что я привела.

Let me fill you in on how Dr. Jacob R. Mittleider REALLY EARNED PhD's from universities on 4 continents over the course of about 40 years.
He grew up on a farm in Twin Falls, Idaho. His formal education ended with high school, where he specialized in baking. He worked in that craft for a few years, then started growing plants near Loma Linda, California.
Jacob was very bright, a tireless worker, and a voracious learner, picking the brains of every willing grower and soil scientist in the Imperial Valley. He fairly quickly became highly successful, innovating several improvements in the Nursery business. He earned 11 plant patents; he sold plants as far distant as Louisiana by truck and all over the country by Flying Tiger Airlines, even supplying Woolworth and Sears.
He lived on about 4 hours of sleep per night, and lost more than half of his stomach in the process.
After almost 20 years he sold the business and determined to devote his time and means to helping people around the world learn better methods of growing food.
Starting in the dangerous and difficult country of Papua New Guinea Jacob devoted the next 37 years to changing the lives of millions of people in 27 countries around the globe.
He created an intensive college-level 3-month horticulture training program that is still used in several countries today. The 627 page Food For Everyone book was and continues to be the main textbook for the training. He also created 86 training "videos" that teach every aspect of vegetable production and demonstrate success in many countries.
He authored a total of 9 books and 9 subject-specific manuals on vegetable gardening. Three volumes of the 9 consist of The Garden Doctor - a unique resource that shows plant deficiency symptoms from each of the 13 mineral nutrients plants need that man can provide, as exhibited in several different vegetables, plus corrective treatments for all of them. I have been able to find nothing anywhere that compares to The Garden Doctor, and invite you to get copies for your library.
When Russia was still the USSR Jacob went there and suffered under the scrutiny of the KGB, etc. while establishing a small agriculture program at Zaokski, in the Tula Region. Within two years he - and his program - had converted the Communists to the point that they honored him with a PhD from the most prestigious agriculture program in the country - The Timerjasjiv (sp) Academy in Moscow.
His program was so well respected that graduates of the 3-month training were awarded certificates from Timerjasjiv as well for several years. Graduates of Timerjasjiv sometimes were allowed to attend the Zaokski program, and a typical comment was "I learned more about growing food in 3 months than I learned in 5 years at the University."
I was privileged to spend time with Dr. Mittleider at Zaokski, and saw for myself what was done there. Today, as a consequence of Jacob's work, there are millions of people in the Commonwealth countries using these methods, and I've received reports that this method is "the most productive and popular method of family gardening" in many regions of those countries.
After knowing and working with Jacob on several projects through the years he finally entrusted all of his materials to me in late 1998, and gave me the responsibility and privilege of carrying on his work the best I could.
I have subsequently digitized most of his training videos and all of his books (except the 1975 More Food From Your Garden).
You suggest that I am doing this work for money. The reality is that I have worked at it full-time for over ten years and have never taken a penny in salary, but have poured my retirement savings into the Foundation, in order to expand the reach of something in which I believe very strongly.
I've been blessed to see students in several countries, including Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Madagascar, Australia, and Colombia have their lives changed dramatically by the knowledge they've gained while taking the Training Course.
Rather than letting people continue to guess at what their plants are getting by using manure and compost (which they've already been doing for thousands of years!) we teach them how to use small amounts of natural mineral nutrients, balanced to provide just what the plants need.
We teach the best cultural practices to avoid problems with weeds, bugs, and diseases. And we teach seedling production, vertical growing, highly efficient watering, and proper harvesting and storage techniques. All of what we teach people helps them achieve yields of 5 to 10 times what they were able to grow using their traditional methods. Even in the USA we don't hesitate to promise tremendous increases in quantity and quality of vegetables and fruits.

Я осенью тоже заказала и уже посадила Гейшу. Неужели и у меня Императрица Фарах? Теперь с тревогой буду ждать не только того, как перезимует, но и как зацветёт. Имп. Фарах у меня уже есть и вторая не очень нужна.

Да, Любочка, пакость еще та. Как бороться не знаю. В прошлом году их было множество. В этом почти нет. Ничего не делала. Соседка(у нее участок повыше)что только не делала: ставила электронные отпугиватели китайские, закапывала в ходы тухлятину, зеленое мыло (может и еще что-нибудь),стоят пустые банки пивные на палочках.И это уже года четыре. По-моему все бесполезно.

Галина Руслановна, у Вас получились ОЧЕНЬ красивые подпорная стенка и клумба у крыльца.Конечно, заполнить их нужно так же краство. Хорошо, что зима на носу и есть время подумать, понять, чего душа просит, побродить по садам (на вскидку подпорные стенки есть у tanvan, Skolot, Olga67,но, конечно, не только у них) - удачи Вам и вдохновения!

Не пожалеете. Очень люблю эту розу. Цвет у неё лучше, чем на фотографии, трудно описать, красный - да, такое горячее сердце. Хоть она и не считается таким уж эксклюзивом, но всегда радует, правда.
